Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") form a binding agreement between you ("User", "you") and DotPlus Technologies Private Limited ("DotPlus", "we", "us") governing your access to and use of the DPLink website, applications, dashboards and APIs (collectively, the "Service"). By creating an account, making a payment or otherwise using the Service, you confirm that you have read, understood and accepted these Terms and our Privacy Policy.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years of age and competent to enter into a binding contract under the Indian Contract Act, 1872 (or the equivalent in your jurisdiction). If you are using the Service on behalf of a company or organisation you represent that you have authority to bind it.

2. Your Account

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for every activity under your account. Notify us immediately at [email protected] of any unauthorised access. We may suspend accounts that show signs of compromise, fraud or abuse.

3. The Service

DPLink provides a QR code generator, URL shortener and related analytics, dashboard and API features. Some features are offered free of cost with fair-use limits; others are available only on a paid subscription plan. We may modify, add or discontinue features with reasonable notice.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the Service to create, host or link to content or destinations that:

• Violate any law, regulation or third-party right.
• Contain malware, phishing pages, scams, pyramid schemes or fraudulent payment flows.
• Promote hate, violence, terrorism, child exploitation or content obscene under Indian law.
• Infringe intellectual property rights, trademarks or impersonate others.
• Send unsolicited bulk messages (spam) through short URLs or QR codes.
• Circumvent rate limits, scrape the Service or abuse APIs.

We may block, remove or delete any link, QR code or account found in violation without prior notice, and cooperate with law enforcement where required.

5. Subscriptions & Online Payments

a. Plans and Pricing

Paid plans are listed on our pricing page. Prices are in Indian Rupees (INR) unless stated otherwise and exclusive of applicable GST / local taxes, which will be added at checkout and shown on the tax invoice.

b. Payment Processing

All online payments are processed through PCI-DSS certified payment gateways, including but not limited to Razorpay, and are subject to the payment gateway's own terms. By paying, you authorise the gateway to debit your chosen instrument (card, UPI, net-banking, wallet, EMI, etc.) for the plan amount plus taxes.

c. Auto-Renewal

Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing cycle using the payment method on file. You may cancel auto-renewal at any time from your dashboard; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current paid period and access continues until then.

d. Failed or Disputed Payments

If a payment fails or is charged back without valid reason we may suspend or terminate the subscription and recover amounts owed through applicable legal channels. A reasonable administrative fee may apply for charge-back handling.

e. Taxes & Invoicing

You are responsible for providing accurate billing details, including a valid GSTIN where applicable. We will issue a tax invoice compliant with Indian GST law for each successful payment.

6. Refund & Cancellation Policy

Because the Service is delivered digitally and activated immediately upon payment, all subscription fees are generally non-refundable. However, we will review genuine refund requests in the following cases:

• Duplicate payment — if you have been charged twice for the same plan, the duplicate amount will be refunded within 7 – 10 working days.
• Service unavailable — if a critical service outage attributable to us prevents you from using the core feature for a continuous period exceeding our published SLA.
• Unauthorised transaction — on verification of fraud or unauthorised use of your payment instrument through our checkout.

Refund requests must be raised to [email protected] within 7 days of the charge with the transaction reference. Approved refunds are credited to the original payment instrument within 7 – 10 working days. Partial-use, pro-rated refunds are not offered. Free-plan users have no monetary transactions and therefore no refund eligibility.

7. Your Content

You retain all rights to the destination URLs, logos, images and other content you upload. You grant us a limited, worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, cache, render and display such content solely as needed to deliver the Service. You are solely responsible for the legality of content accessed through links or QR codes you create.

8. Intellectual Property

The Service, including its name, logo, design, source code, documentation and underlying technology, is and remains the exclusive property of DotPlus. No part of the Service may be copied, reverse-engineered or resold without prior written consent.

9. Termination

You may delete your account at any time from your dashboard or by emailing support. We may suspend or terminate your account, with or without notice, for breach of these Terms, non-payment, fraud, or legal compliance reasons. On termination, paid plans end immediately and amounts already paid are not refundable except as described in Section 6.

10. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose or non-infringement. We do not warrant uninterrupted or error-free operation.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, DotPlus, its directors, employees or affiliates shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, loss of profits, data or goodwill, arising from your use of or inability to use the Service. Our aggregate liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount actually paid by you to us in the three (3) months preceding the event giving rise to the claim.

12. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold DotPlus harmless against any claim, liability, cost or expense (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of your breach of these Terms, misuse of the Service, or infringement of any third-party right.

13. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any dispute arising under or in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts at the registered office of DotPlus Technologies Private Limited, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer-protection rights available to you.

14. Changes to the Terms

We may amend these Terms from time to time. The updated version will be posted at this URL with a new "Last updated" date. Material changes will be notified by email. Your continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
